How to submit your consent or objection

Download and complete the consent and objection form.
Attach the necessary supporting documentation, such as proxy forms or proof of ownership.
Email your completed form and supporting documentation to voting@vredehoekcid.co.za.

We can also collect your forms from you, if you would prefer. Please email us at info@vredehoekcid.co.za and we will arrange collection.

Required supporting documentation

For a natural person

If you are the registered owner of the property, no further supporting documentation is required.
If the property is not in the individual's name, proof of ownership must be provided. This could include, for example, a letter from an attorney confirming that the transfer is in process, or updated ownership documentation.
If you are unsure of whose name your property is in, please email info@vredehoekcid.co.za and we can assist.

For a juristic person (a property owned by a trust, Pty (Ltd), CC etc).

If the property is registered in the name of the entity, no additional documentation is required.
If the property is not registered in the entity's name, supporting documentation/proof of the entity's interest or ownership must be provided.

Person acting on behalf of the owner

Where someone is providing consent or an objection on behalf of the registered owner, a letter of authorisation/proxy must be provided. Example proxy forms are provided below.
Where the property is owned by a Trust, the appropriate supporting documentation must be provided in accordance with the Trust Property Control Act.
